If you are looking to maintain your youthful you, a feeding frenzy of melons is your magic carpet ride to sweet success!


Horned Melons for wrinkles – Jam-packed with vitamin C, necessary for collagen production; Vitamin E for hydration; beta carotene provides sun shielding protection – all of which can help you look years younger.

Watermelon for heart health Rich in lycopene to ease inflammation, arginine to lower blood pressure and nitric oxide for circulation - keeps you heart young!

Honeydew for happy hair Rich in niacin, pantothenic acid copper -  all amazing for your scalp and to promote thicker, fuller, longer hair;

Cantaloupe to keep the blues away – High in inositol (research suggests inositol is as effective as some prescription anti-depressants), selenium, choline and potassium - keeps your mood upbeat and bright, helps relieve stress and anxiety

To save melons for months to come? Simply freeze them!  

 

Place 1/1/2 cups melon cubes or chunks of pulp in a blender with ½ cup water.


Add 1 tbsp. lemon or lime juice. Blend till smooth.


Pour mixture into ice pop molds or ice cube trays.

Freeze 24 hours.


Remove and place in freezer bags to save.
